(Not sure if first submission went through--this may be duplicate)
I begin the "reset" process earlier than Wendy, but in stages. Phase 1, I gather up all major red décor like placemats, candles, florals--usually by Dec 26th. Phase 2 I take all fresh greens/pinecones etc outside to set free for natural recycling--by New Year's. Phase 3, finally pack away the Christmas décor (keeping candles in the windows til about Jan 6th)but keep out a few wintry/snowy things like a bit of faux snow, couple of snowflakes and silver/white items for Jan-Feb. Then take a breather until spring.

Merry Boxing Day / second day of Christmas to both of you and the furry crew.

No guests this year and only a small family dinner yesterday, so it was fairly subdued this year. I didn't decorate as much as I sometimes do knowing it was just for me. But I'm still enjoying the midsized tree and the lights and foilage.

I'll start tucking things away after New Years and take the tree down on the 4th since Ephipany is on a weekday.
